Some of you may have seen my insta stories last night when I showed you my replanting process. Over the weekend I got myself two new plants and the ones I have at home needed replanting into bigger pots as well. This was great opportunity to use my egg shells that I was collecting over last few weeks. There is plenty of ways to reuse your egg shells and here are 3 of them: . 1. Fertilise your garden and your plants (that’s what I did). Egg shells are rich in calcium and minerals that will help your garden and plants thrive. That’s the tip I got from my grandma and believe me her plants were alway growing crazy 🙂 . 2. Add to your dogs food - this is recommendation from my vet. Egg shells are good supplement of calcium for your dogs bones and teeth. All you need to do is dry them in the oven in 250 degrees for about 20 minutes and then blend them into powder and spoonful to your dogs food every other day. . 3. Face mask - apparently egg shells can restore youthful glow to your skin. Dry the egg shells, crush them into tiny pieces and mix with egg white. Leave on your face for 15-20 minutes and there you go... let me know if you’ve tried that one as I haven’t myself yet 🙂 . Have you got any idea on how to reuse egg shells? Share them in the comment down below so we can all even the smallest bit to live lower impact life 🌿🌿🌿 #ukdebtfreecommunity#debtfreecommunity#lowwaste#zerowaste#ecofriendly#naturalbeauty#reuse#frugalliving#savingmoney
My iPhone went dead on Saturday. All of the sudden I found myself in situation where I was looking for new phone starting with the same model I had (iPhone 7) up to the newest iPhone worth about £1000. When I was ready to buy this super expensive device I stopped for a second and reflected on what I was just about to do. I was about to spend money on something that I wasn’t planning to buy. I was about to pay more than I would ever want to pay for a phone which in my option is not worth it, only because it’s a new model. And lastly I was going to spend money on something I didn’t need. I bought my iPhone 7 in May, renewed from Amazon. I’ve paid £340 and it was great upgrade for me since my previous iPhone was SE and if it wasn’t for a fact that I’ve dropped it into the toilet, I would be still using it. So why I was even thinking of buying something ‘better’ for such an amount of money?! I don’t know but I know that I have stopped myself right on time only because I started to think about my savings and spendings that I’ve got in upcoming months and I honestly told myself that I simply cannot afford it and the fact that I would really want it doesn’t mean I need it. I was lucky enough that my phone was still within 1 year warranty period so all I did was contacted @amazonukonline and they sorted the return label and refund for me. All in all I went for the same mode which was less than £300 (also renewed) and I’m proud of making this decision. Have you even bought any renewed/refurbished devices from Amazon? What’s your experience with their customer service? Are you tech freak and always need to have the newest models? I would love to see your responses down below! 🙂#moneysavingtips#debtfreecommunity#iphone#save#money#wantsvsneeds#frugalliving
As most of you know I have started eBay and Vinted reselling as a side hustle some time ago. At first I would sell something occasionally but now since I’ve committed to it more I’m getting few sales a day. By no means I’m leaving my full time employment to persuade reseller career but I’ve learned few things over last few months and I would like to share them with you. . 🌿 do not ignore messages from potential buyers - nowadays since I’ve got about 60 items listed, I’m getting somewhere between 5-10 queries daily. I know it’s not easy to answer them as soon as they come in, especially if you’re in full time employment, but out of all those 10 people some of them potentially will buy the item from you simply because you bothered to answer their questions and provide maybe some measurements. Thank you and please goes a long way too! . 🌿 know the rules - it is valid especially if you sell on eBay. Unfortunately there is still many people abusing the system very often claiming that the items was not received or anything else. By knowing eBay rules and regulations you’re able to fight your corner in case of disputes but also avoid any breaches even those committed unknowingly. 🌿 make the customer feel special - I’ve implemented discount codes. Every order gets 20% discount code for next purchase. This makes people more willing to buy from me in the future. . 🌿 post on time - my eBay auctions state that the item gets posted between 1-3 working days. Usually I post my items next day and the buyer gets the item 2 days later. People very often mention how impressed they are by super short delivery time. I’ve managed to implement to the post office into my daily routine to make my customers happy. I am preparing full blog post on eBay reselling as well as customer service tips and tricks so stay tuned! In the mean time please share your best practices if it comes to customer service 🙂 20% off of all my eBay and Vinted items for all my followers with code FRUGAL SHOPPING. Just DM me and I’ll adjust the price for you! eBay and Vinted details in highlights 🙂 #sale#discountcodes#ebayreseller#customerservice#debtfreecommunity#sidehustle#moneymaking#savingmoney

I’m at the point now where eating meat is not my favourite thing... something has changed and I truly enjoy cutting out a bit of meat out of my diet. By no means I claim I’ll be vegetarian soon but in efforts to reduce my meat consumption I’ve been searching for some vegetarian friendly meals that will not only be satisfying but also fairly cheap. I believe we can all agree that vegetarian diet is in theory far cheaper but this is only what I imagine it to be, not based on my experience. First vegetarian meal I’ve prepared was this delicious falafel and halloumi fries wrap which was not only cheap but also very filling! Please share your favourite vegetarian meal recipes as I’m looking for inspiration 🙂 #vegetarianrecipes#vegetarian#frugalmeals #budget#budgetplanning#grocerybudget#money#moneysaving#debtfreecommunity#savvy#frugal#frugalleaving#yeallowsticker#deals#bargains#makeup#matchedbetting#spendingmoney#money#saving #ebay#finance#ebayseller#charityshops

2018 was the year of big changes and big challenges for me. I have finally made my decision about tackling the debt I had and have been working hard to get rid of it. In general last year was definitely year of a hard work. Working hard and putting many hours into it also meant more money earned. More money earned was also more money spent for me... today I would like to share with you 5 things I’ve spent money on and not regret it. ⠀⠀ 🌿 eyelash extensions - although I absolutely love the way I look having them done, I cannot justify spending about £40 a month to have them done. Also, every time I would book appointment it took 2 hours to have them done as the lady I usually go to is perfectionist. 🌿 gym membership - I’ve never been this person who would regularly go to the gym, however I’ve signed up for a year contract at the gym which is near by to my where I live hoping that money spent on membership will be great motivation for me to go. It wasn’t! I truly believe that if you want to exercise you’ll do so anywhere. 🌿 brand new clothes - I do not get why I was spending so much money buying new clothing items while in charity shops I can find basically everything I need provided I’ll look long enough. 🌿 hairdresser appointments - I have never been this kind of girl who would go to the hairdresser regularly. In fact last year was the first time I had my hair dyed professionally. I wanted my hair be be lighter and spend about £300 to go from almost black to light brown... I did not like it and after 2 months or so I went back to black hair and I’ve done it myself. 🌿 beauty products that I didn’t need - as probably most women, I love make up and beauty. Testing new products is exciting but very often it’s money spend for something you don’t really need. Last year I’ve spent loads of money this way, which I now regret. ⠀⠀ Is there anything you regret buying at all? #budget#budgetplanning#grocerybudget#money#moneysaving#debtfreecommunity#savvy#frugal#frugalleaving#yeallowsticker#deals#bargains#makeup#matchedbetting#spendingmoney#money#saving #ebay#finance#ebayseller#matchedbetting
